Maya Daya Dialysis Center celebrated its SECOND ANNIVERSARY on 6th of March 2023 with joy and jubilation which coincided with the HOLI; one of the major and widely observed festivals of Hindus. To commemorate the occasion, the clinic organized a FOOD RELIEF SUPPORT DISTRIBUTION program to 36 families of the patients being treated at the center, supported by KOPAN HELPING HANDS, a social wing of Kopan Monastery aimed to support needy and underprivileged individuals and communities to uplift their livelihoods.
Following the distribution program, to mark the occasion, a TREE PLANTATION EVENT was carried out by and at the presence of Lama Losang Namgyal Rinpoche , Gen Tenpa Choeden and Gen Pemba la from Kopan monastery to promote environmental sustainability and to emphasize the importance of preserving the natural beauty of the Hospital area.
As a symbol of gratitude, a dinner program was organized in the evening to the entire staff of the clinic and the crucial members of Karuna Hospital for their relentless support throughout our journey in the benefit of patients and the communities to a much-needed life-saving medical service.
